Our Purpose
The purpose of the Hinsdale Area Networking Group is to assist our members with getting good business referrals that will expand business success. Our networking group is dedicated to maximizing the use of our time and resources to get good business referrals. To accomplish this goal, we use a method of timed repetition of information. We are dedicated to increasing our business success.

Membership
Guests and new members are always welcome! If you are interested in becoming a member of our group, please complete our Membership Application, and bring it to one of our Wednesday breakfast meetings.

Fees
Guests are welcome to attend up to 3 meetings at no cost. Our membership fee is $30 per month, collected on a quarterly basis which includes a free breakfast at each meeting, group marketing materials, and group mixer expenses.

Lead Definition
A business name, contact person and phone numberof someone who has an interest in your product or srvice and is expecting to be contact in a reasonable amount of time.

Mentoring Program
A designated “mentor” will be assigned to guide the New Member through the initial phase of being a HANG member: by:
1. Explaining that attendance is crucial to not only giving, by receiving leads
2. Defining what is a qualified lead… and the “Card” that should be filled out and
    presented at the time of the lead.
3. Explaining what is entailed in a member’s presentation as a speaker.
4. Making sure the New Member receives a full “book” of business cards given to him by
    the group.
5. Explaining that there are materials (printed pieces) that are available to promote not
    only his/her business, but the group as a whole.

A.Fold over business card that lists everyone and their business
B. A Tri-fold brochure that has a list and pictures of all the members of the HANG group.
C. Coupon Book opportunities

6. Reviewing the “social” aspects involved in being a HANG member
            A. Golf Outings
            B. Mixers
            C. Christmas party
7. Reviewing the chamber membership(s) available through the Group and explaining the
   “Networking” that is available through these associations.

Typical Meeting

  1. Open meeting with: The Purpose
  2. Read what defines a “Qualified Lead”
  3. Introductions/Short “promotion” on yourself and business – 30-seconds
  4. Announcements / “business” of the Club
  5. Passing of Leads
  6. Speakers: 2-Speakers / week 10 Minutes each
  7. 2nd Round of Promotionals
  8. Reading of Creed
  9. Meeting adjourned

Attendance
It is expected that members in good standing will attend 3 out of 4 meetings that are held monthly.
